Single Sheet Binding - Sketchbook

Ever since I subscribed to Sea Lemon and began watching her bookbinding videos along with many different DIY tutorials; I began to grow ever more curious about bookbinding. So, one day I decided to be brave and dive into this strange and creative world. Little did I know that it was going to grow into this new obsession.

Of course, like any new project, I was nervous to start and rather scared that I might not be able to do it. The first thing I did was cut up the pages and prepare the covers. Preparing the covers was fun. I got to use my mists and my stencils and my beautiful Tim Holtz tissue paper. The whole process took about a week since it was Single Sheet binding and that required six different needles.

After I finished this one project, I was determined to find out more stitches to learn and try and the more I looked at handmade books, the more I fell in love with Bookbinding.

Bellow in the small image gallery, you can see the finished project. Enjoy!
